Progression
Feb. 17th, 2010 10:08 pmFast forward a few months since my last update, and I've got the job which I was then waiting to have the interview for.
Been employed for about a month and a half now, and getting on with it quite happily. Not giving too much thought to the future, but just seeing how things fall if I let them settle in this new pattern for a while.
So I'm now living with 3 girls who were all strangers until we moved in with each other at the beginning of the year, and working as a visitor assistant at a museum, which basically involves monitoring people in the galleries, working in the shop, and being the receptionist on the front desk.
Today I had my second one-to-one meeting with my manager (in which she called me the ideal Visitor Assistant - yay for being good at my job!), and tomorrow is both payday (much needed), and meal out with work people. The first time I will have seen everyone socially, tis quite exciting.
Very happy to be where I am now, rather than where I was last time I updated.
